Функциональность

Относительно старших моделей линейки Archer функциональные возможности маршрутизатора скромные. Сетевые порты поддерживают скорость до 100 Мбит/с, по Wi-Fi на частоте 2,4 Гц возможна передача данных на скорости до 300 Мбит/с, на 5 ГГц – до 867 Мбит/с.

Основа TP-LINK Archer C50 – процессор MediaTek MT7620A частотой 580 МГц, 64 МБ оперативной памяти типа DDR2 и 8 МБ Flash-памяти. Процессор отвечает за работу проводной части сети и Wi-Fi на частоте 2,4 ГГц, работу подсети 5 ГГц обеспечивает чип MediaTek MT7612EN.

Несъемные антенны работают в режиме 2:2х2, мощность передатчика ограничена стандартными для домашнего оборудования 100 мВт. Маршрутизатор поддерживает привычные типы сетевых подключений и протоколы шифрования Wi-Fi. К порту USB2.0 можно подключить принтер или накопитель, организовать медиа или FTP-сервер. Количество гостевых сетей ограничено двумя – по одной для каждого частотного диапазона. Из интересных особенностей можно отметить аппаратную поддержку NAT.

Для настройки и управления маршрутизатором используется стандартный «трехколоночный» веб-интерфейс, знакомый по множеству старых устройств компании. Его логика очень проста – первая колонка содержит список пунктов и подпунктов параметров, по центру появляются выбранные настройки, справа – справка.

Кроме этого, Archer C50 можно управлять с помощью фирменного приложения Tether APP, доступного для Android и iOS.

Как подключить роутер к линии + подготовка ПК перед настройкой

Сначала нужно соединить всё оборудование:

  1. Шнур провайдера подсоединяем к гнезду, подписанному как Internet.
  2. В первый локальный порт вставляем кабель из комплекта роутера.
  3. Второй свободный конец локального кабеля подключаем к компьютеру (выходу сетевой карты).

Сразу заходим на ПК в настройки сети:

  1. Жмём на «Вин» и R. Вписываем в окошко код ncpa.cpl — кликаем по ОК.
  2. В вызванном окне ищем Ethernet. Щёлкаем правой клавишей мышки — идём в свойства соединения.
  3. В окне поменьше выделяем левой кнопкой протокол IPv4. Также заходим в его свойства.
  4. Устанавливаем автоматическую передачу DNS и IP. Сохраняемся.

Настройка IPTV

Если вы купили у провайдера услугу цифрового ТВ, делаем следующее:

  1. В разделе «Сеть» выбираете предпоследнюю вкладку IPTV.
  2. Включаете или отключаете IGMP в зависимости от того, поддерживает ваш провайдер опцию или нет (информацию можно найти либо в договоре, либо через службу поддержки компании).

  3. Выбираете режим подключения: мост или VLAN (если требуется идентификатор — он прописывается опять же в соглашении).

  4. Если это просто мост, выбираете номер жёлтого локального выхода, к которому будете подключать приставку.

  5. Если VLAN, пишете сначала идентификатор и сопутствующие данные из договора, а затем так же указываете номер локального порта.
  6. Сохраняете изменения, включаете приставку, ТВ и проверяете работу услуги.

Технические характеристики TP-Link Archer С50 AC1200

TP-Link Archer С50 AC1200 — двухдиапазонный роутер, который отличается стабильным сигналом и высокой дальностью покрытия. Для этого разработчики оснастили девайс четырьмя антеннами. Устройство полностью поддерживает современный стандарт Wi-Fi 802.11ac, скорость которого ровно в три раза превышает возможности N. Как было отмечено выше, роутер поддерживает два диапазона Wi-Fi:

  • 2,4 Ггц, который на данный момент, является распространенным, но устаревшим;
  • 5 Ггц — современный и новый стандарт, обеспечивающий максимальный комфорт при просмотре потокового видео, а также при игре в онлайн-игры.

Пропускная способность первого составляет 300 Мбит/с, тогда как режим 5 Ггц поднимает это значение до впечатляющих 867 Мбит/с!

Индикаторы и разъемы

На передней панели роутера Арчер присутствуют светодиоды, которые сигнализируют о состоянии гаджета. Перечислим их в том порядке, как они расположены, слева направо.

  • Индикатор «Power» светится, когда питание включено и роутер работает. Если он мигает, значит, роутер запускается или прошивка обновляется.
  • Светодиод «2,4 Wireless» горит, когда работает беспроводная сеть в диапазоне 2,4 ГГц.
  • Индикатор «5 Wireless» включен, когда Wi-Fi сеть в диапазоне 5 ГГц активна.
  • Светодиод «Ethernet» сигнализирует о подключении устройства к одному из портов LAN.
  • Индикатор «Internet» может светиться двумя цветами. Если он зеленый, то Интернет активен, если желтый, то кабель подключен к соответствующему порту, но Интернет недоступен.
  • Светодиод «WPS» мигает, когда соединение устанавливается. После того, как произошло подключение, индикатор будет гореть, не мигая, еще 5 минут и после этого погаснет.

На задней панели TP Link Archer C50 расположены следующие разъемы, кнопки и порты:

  • Разъем «Power» предназначен для подключения маршрутизатора к источнику питания через прилагаемый адаптер.
  • Кнопка «Power On/Off» используется для того, чтобы включить или выключить маршрутизатор.

Автоматическая настройка

Чтобы воспользоваться функцией быстрой настройки, нужно зайти в настройки роутера. После этого:

В левом меню выбираем строку «Быстрая настройка» и жмем «Далее» в появившемся окне.

В новом окне можно попытаться выбрать своего Интернет-провайдера. Если он отсутствует, то поставьте галочку в поле «Я не нашел подходящих настроек».

Если вы не нашли своего поставщика Интернет-услуг, то в следующем окне нужно будет выбрать тип подключения. Данная информация предоставляется провайдером.

Если вы выбрали один из наиболее распространенных типов соединения РРРоЕ, то в появившемся окне вам нужно будет ввести имя пользователя и пароль (два раза).

В новом окне необходимо выбрать диапазоны, на которых будет работать Wi-Fi сеть. Можно выбрать одну из частот или обе.

В следующем окне требуется ввести SSID (имя сети) и пароль.

В следующем окне показаны все настройки, которые были сделаны, их нужно проверить и нажать «Сохранить».

После этого появится окно завершения настроек, здесь нажмите «Сохранить», Настройка для роутера TP Link Archer c50 завершена.

To Upgrade

IMPORTANT: To prevent upgrade failures, please read the following before proceeding with the upgrade process

  • Please upgrade firmware from the local TP-Link official website of the purchase location for your TP-Link device, otherwise it will be against the warranty. Please click here to change site if necessary.
  • Please verify the hardware version of your device for the firmware version. Wrong firmware upgrade may damage your device and void the warranty. （Normally V1.x=V1）How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device?
  • Do NOT turn off the power during the upgrade process, as it may cause permanent damage to the product.
  • To avoid wireless disconnect issue during firmware upgrade process, it’s recommended to upload firmware with wired connection unless there is no LAN/Ethernet port on your TP-Link device.
  • It’s recommended that users stop all Internet applications on the computer, or simply disconnect Internet line from the device before the upgrade.
  • Use decompression software such as WinZIP or WinRAR to extract the file you download before the upgrade.
